With our Full Time Personal Trainer Certificate you can become a Personal Trainer in no time at all. All you need is to already have your Level 2 qualification as a pre-requisite for the course.
Personal Trainer Course Content:

Personal Trainer Course Format:
Part Time Option
The Personal Trainer course comprises of 4-6 weeks of home study (distance learning) working for around 6 - 10 hours per week to achieve the 60 hours of home study required. All learning materials are despatched on point of enrolment and these will include: Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology manual, Level 3 Nutrition for Physical Activity and Health manual.
Our dedicated student support team will then contact you to start your home study and they will continue to support you throughout your learning journey. Attendance is then required for a total of eight practical tutorial days, split across 3 weekends.
Weekend one explores advanced CV training systems, advanced resistance training systems, advanced stretching and flexibility alongside programme design and planning. Throughout this weekend you will recognize functional training techniques, understand movement analysis, posture assessments, core stability and finally enhancing your exercise library for training in different environments.
Weekend two examines Nutrition for physical activity and health. The aim of this module is to recognise the skills, knowledge and competence required for an individual to apply the principles of nutrition and weight management to support their clients goals. This course is designed for those working with or planning to work with clients to help them realise a healthy weight through nutrition and physical activity. The remainder of weekend two covers the client lifestyle and fitness appraisal module. This provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform fitness tests with a client and analyse the data; also to identify physical and psychological barriers to exercise and healthy living and finally to provide recommendations.
Further still weekend one and two considers exercise for the apparently healthy people, special populations including obesity, diabetes and asthma.
Weekend three you will complete all the level 3 assessments including theory assessments and practical assessments.
This course ensures you have ultimate employability as well as an outstanding platform to launch a personal training career.
Personal Trainer Course Assessment:
You must hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification. Writing and numeracy skills are also recommended for course work. Minimum age is 16.
